Looking ahead, what do you want to manifest? From a reflection on this question, this piece was born.
The path originates in the open and awake third eye, the spiritual center and symbol of highest truth. This energy radiates out into all areas of life and illuminates everything it touches. It all starts within.
About this Piece / Note from the Artist:
This piece holds an incredibly special place in my heart. It marks the moment that I clarified my vision of what I want this project, Mandalas of the Path, to be, and how I want it to grow in the coming year.
When I listen unabashedly to my inner wisdom, I feel aligned with my highest truth. It is only when I allow limiting beliefs and doubt to take the wheel that I feel confused, as if my vision is clouded. In this piece, you see that the main figure has her conventional eyes closed, but her third eye is open. This represents the idea that inner wisdom (symbolized by the third eye) is the only guide we need. I have set the intention to let my third eye be my guide. I know that if I allow my path to unfold from this place of truth and wisdom, only beautiful things can result.
You may also notice that my website's logo has been redesigned. The logo came first, and then this piece, as I felt I needed to expand this idea into something bigger. Now the piece is framed in my apartment, I wear it as a T-shirt, and it is the wallpaper on my phone. This intention is my guide now, and the more I look at this piece, the more I remember that.
